Covid-19, Influenza, and other contagious virus's. What we are doing to ensure everyone's safety?

This year's flu season has been a particularly harsh one. I know very few people who have not yet been struck down with the flu at some point this season.

Just when I thought we may be on the decline of flu cases, in comes the new Covid-19 virus, a.ka. Coronavirus. The unknown details of this new outbreak have people around the world on edge.

With that said, I wanted to take a moment to let you know that the team here at Makeup New England is carefully following the daily updates and recommendations from the CDC as well as the New Hampshire Dept. of Health and Human Services.

We take the sanitation and cleanliness of our tools and products extremely seriously. As well as the health of our clients and team.

In between each client our hands, tools and products are cleaned and sanitized.

At the end of each day our kits get fully cleaned/sanitized, including surfaces, handles, etc...

In addition to our normal full-scale sanitary procedures we are now taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of our clients and team.

These precautions may include the following:

Wiping down all surrounding surfaces (chair, table area) with alcohol wipes between each client.

We may ask if you and/or your wedding party have recently (within the last 14 days) traveled to any areas that are currently listed under the Level 3 Travel Warning.

As of today's date those areas include; Mainland China, South Korea, Italy and Iran. If anyone in your party answers yes to this question services may be denied to the individual/s in question.

We ask that if you or anyone in your wedding party is not feeling well to please inform their artist/stlyist prior to sitting in their chair. The artist/stylist reserves the right to refuse services to anyone with a fever or other obvious signs of the flu.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions and/or concerns directly to Kelly Ford at
